Duties: Help prepare & serve food to homeless & program residents; clean up dining Room & kitchen after meals; sort & shelve food.
Qualifications: Adults only please. All female volunteers should dress modestly. We strongly suggest all females be accompanied by at least one adult Male.

“Bags of Love” was developed to reach out into the Oakland families in need of food and encouragement. Volunteers come on Saturday mornings, take the prepared bags of food to registered families and offer them prayer. With this program we need no more than 6-8 volunteers each Saturday and require registration of groups.
Help provided bag lunches to the poorest of the poor in the community!

Prayer & Trash Pickup Walks
CityTeam is working in some of the neediest neighborhoods with many strongholds that are in desperate need of your prayer support [Ephesians 6:12]. We will give a short orientation and then divide you into teams of 2-3 to pick up trash while you pray for that neighborhood and look for opportunities to interact with people from that neighborhood.
How Many Volunteers: We need a minimum of 3 volunteers per shift.
When: Every 1st & 3rd Saturday from 9:30am-12pm.
Where: Meet at Family & Youth Outreach, 1297 N. 13th St, San Jose, CA 95112.
What to Bring: A pair of gloves and a trash bag if possible. (CityTeam will provide if you don’t have).
Share the gospel, supply & serve dinner to our shelter guests.
